Thank You.
Austin Carty was a cast member on Survivor: Panama Exile Island in 2006, but he isnt content or comfortable being known solely as that guy who appeared on the reality TV show, ate bugs, and built barely functional lean-tos. What he is content and comfortable with, hes discovered, is his faith and his belief in something bigger than himself. And its this faith and this belief thats led him to endure greater trials than a couple of months of outdoor living, or even surviving a monsoon dressed in a T-shirt. Today, Carty travels across the world speaking to youth about being a Christian in a world that requires a unique set of survival skills none of which, luckily, involve using a flint. Hes always wanted to write, though, and that desire has led, most recently, to this collection of candid essays. In them, Carty explores his own experiences navigating religious fervor, spiritual confusion, academic dishonesty, superficial and genuine friendships, temporary employment and vocational purpose, and romantic entanglements. His frank disclosure, coupled with his gentle, self-deprecating humor, is disarming and endearing, and perhaps most importantly accessible and relatable. Whether his readers identify as religious or secular, most will connect with Cartys writing, and find his self-awareness and introspection both refreshing and inspiring.

My book is about Communists trying to take over the world. America has fallen to Cuba and Only Indiana, Ohio and Michigan are still fighting. It had starts of with a man named Marcus McNeil in a hotel, trying to assassinate Raul Castro, he only lightly wounds him and flees back to a warehouse. Finally on his way there (he’s being chased by a Russian spy) he gets a phone call from a man who has a Cuban accent, who says he has captured this woman (and it turns out to be his girlfriend, who also works for the CIA) and called this number, because it was the very first on the contacts list. They are going to take the women (who’s name turns out to Alice) to a prison camp and Marcus gets a minute to talk with Alice. Alice says the prison is in Moscow, but hidden. Then he phone hangs up and Marcus ends up being pulled over by the Cuban police and the Russian spy and is taken to Moscow, to the same prison camp. So while they hold him in jail, Marcus is able to escape and steals a car. He returns to Ohio where the following police are captured and jailed. The CIA wants him to assassinate Dmitry Medvedev and he takes the job. On the plane he finds out it was a trick and he is surrounded by Cubans. He quickly kills them all (he finds a Ak-47) and has to manually land the plane in Moscow. He is arrested by the Russian police and is taken to a local jail. Luckily, he’s room has a vent and he is able to fit in it, and finds himself in the police locker room. He finds a knife and slits two officers throats grabs a gun and sneaks out as a police officer. He calls the CIA tells them he is fine and that he’s leaving the CIA to find Alice. After searching around Moscow, he finds a small store, that seems fishy. While, looking around he sees a man shopping for clothes rather close to himself. He runs across the store and the man follows and Marcus pulls out a gun. The weird man is a Russian spy (the one that chased Marcus in the start.) Marcus shoots and fatally wounds the spy and runs to the back of the store. While running he opens a door that says Employees Only and sees two armed guards, guarding yet another door. Marcus shows the men his badges and guesses the room is sound proof since they couldn’t hear the bullets. He then sees some stairs and he is in the prison. He goes down deeper and sees Alice, being beaten and mistreating by the guards. Marcus attempts to shoot the guard attacking Alice, but misses and the bullet ricochets against the floor and hits Marcus in the left knee. Know the guards are attempting to attack Marcus but he shots the chains that are holding Alice and throws her a small pistol and she quickly dispatches the guards. Suddenly they hear a grenade go off and try to leave, but tot heir relief they see British soldiers coming and helps them escape Russia. They are hurried to a helicopter and escape into the night. At the end of the book, Cuba has been pushed out of America and the Russians are under control. Then, after that Alice and Marcus are married. Then on the last page it shows a news headline that’s says "Russians launch deadly nuclear missile!!!"
As by the last sentence says, I’m planning to make a sequeal.
To foxtrxt he needed a ride to get there, and he hadn’t decided to quit his job yet.
Ever see West Side Story? It is nothing like real life gangsters, who snap while dancing badly and sing terrible songs. I don’t see one crack pipe or one AK-47.
Okay, I’mn not looking at science for ever single detail. My book takes place in a fantasy time (not like the idoitic Runescape). I’m for sure if every book followed every rule of science, it would be pretty boring. In Quantum of Solace, for an examble, when Mr. Bond shots the hydrogen tank and blows up the wallm it most likely would have made Bond, a red splat.
First off, Spock is so HOTT! haha *contact*
& Yea, I love the plot idea, I’m really into that whole James Bond/History thing, and we need more books like this, so far it’s mainly the movies.
Random note: You say the main character took a job to kill Dmitry Medvedev, well why would he waste his time on that when he was supposed to be saving his girlfriend? I think you try to find another way to get him onto that plane.

A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media
by Bernard Goldberg
Synopsis
This Time It Went Beyond Bias
Do the mainstream media have a liberal bias? Sure they do, everyone knows that, says CBS veteran and New York Times bestselling author Bernard Goldberg. But the media crossed an important line in the 2008 presidential race, moving from their usual unthinking liberal bias to crass partisanship of the crudest kind, practically acting as spin doctors for the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. In A Slobbering Love Affair, his most provocative book yet, Goldberg demonstrates how the media launched an unparalleled effort to ensure the election of the man they regarded as The One. From the thrill Obama sent up Chris Matthews’ leg to the outrageously slanted "news" reports of the New York Times, Goldberg shows in exacting detail how the media, abandoning even the pretense of objectivity, moved from media bias to media activism. With his trademark blunt, honest, insider’s perspective, Goldberg reveals:
* How the media ignored, downplayed, or sanitized the rantings of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s long-standing "spiritual" adviser, and the radicalism of former terrorist (and Obama associate) Bill Ayers
* How the Obama campaign, while claiming to be "post-partisan," kicked reporters off Obama’s plane after their newspapers endorsed McCain
* Why Obama’s election makes it more likely conservative talk radio will be stifled by a new "Fairness Doctrine" that has nothing to do with fairness at all
* Why the liberal media preferred Obama to Hillary
* What we can expect from the media’s coverage of Obama’s presidency
* BONUS: An exclusive interview with Rush Limbaugh on the unholy alliance between Obama and the mainstreammedia
A blistering takedown of the media’s slavish support for Obama, A Slobbering Love Affair highlights how the mainstream media has not only surrendered its integrity and objectivity, but could even endanger our democracy.

1.) Powerful and Continuing Nationalism: Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2.) Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights: Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3.) Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause: The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4.) Supremacy of the Military: Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5.) Rampant Sexism: The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

6.) Controlled Mass Media: Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7.) Obsession with National Security: Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses
Bush Aides ADMIT ’stoking fear’ for political gain: Bush adviser said the president hopes to change the dynamics of the race. The strategy is aimed at stoking public fears about terrorism, raising new concerns about Kerry’s ability to protect Americans and reinforcing Bush’s image as the steady anti-terrorism candidate, aides said.

8.) Religion and Government are Intertwined: Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government’s policies or actions.

9.) Corporate Power is Protected: The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
The K Street Project is a project by the Republican party to pressure Washington lobbying firms to hire Republicans in top positions, and to reward loyal GOP lobbyists with access to influential officials. It was launched in 1995, by Republican strategist Grover Norquist and House majority leader Tom DeLay.
American Conservative Magazine: One U.S. contractor received $2 million in a duffel bag… and a U.S. official was given $7 million in cash in the waning days of the CPA and told to spend it “before the Iraqis take over.”

10.) Labor Power is Suppressed: Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
Labor Department warns unions against using their money politically
President Bush Attacks Organized Labor: Bush attacked organized labor Saturday, issuing orders effectively reducing how much money unions can spend for political activities and opening up government contracts to non-union bidding.

Congress and the Department of Labor are trying to change the rules on overtime pay, eliminating the 40 hour work week, taking eligibility for overtime pay away from millions of workers, and replacing time and a half pay with comp days.

11.) Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts: Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.
Bush’s new economic plan cuts funding for arts, education
Artists from all over the world are being refused entry to the US on security grounds.

Freedom of Repression: New ruling will allow censorship of campus publications

12.) Obsession with Crime and Punishment: Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations
American Gestapo is here: "There is hereby created and established a permanent police force, to be known as the ‘United States Secret Service Uniformed Division.’"
America: secret jails, secret courts, secret arrests, and now secret laws

Police officers don’t have to give a reason at the time they arrest someone, the U.S. Supreme Court said in a ruling that shields officers from false-arrest lawsuits.

13.) Rampant Cronyism and Corruption: Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

"Contracting in the aftermath of the hurricanes has been marked by waste, corruption and cronyism"

14. Fraudulent Elections: Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

This picture is what stopped the ballot recounts in Florida shortly after it seemed that legitimate President Gore had a lead. The "citizens" started what was later called "the preppy riot". Screaming, yelling, pounding on the walls, these "outraged citizens" intimidated the polling officials to halt the court mandated recount. A closer look reveals who they really were. They were bussed and flown in at Republican lawmakers expense. Some even flew in on Tom Delay’s private plane.
That’s a good question. And an easy one to answer. The single most important, vital thing to do is to just talk about this stuff.
Not online, but in the real world. With family, and friends, and co-workers, etc. Even though the Zogby poll shows that a full 50% of Americans believe that something very, very wrong has happened in this country on and since 9/11, it’s still a very, very hard thing for people to talk about. The media has people so well conditioned to accept the official line on things and denounce everything else as "wack job conspiracy" that people are afraid to speak their mind. If all of this stuff simply came out of the back closets and internet chat rooms and quiet whispers, and instead was discussed at the family dinner table, or Starbucks, or in classrooms, or at cafeteria tables, etc., we’d be in infinitely better shape. It doesn’t take long. I’d suggest that people call into their local radio morning shows on the way to work or school, write a quick letter to the editor of your local newspaper, give a presentation in class, etc. Simple little things like that go a long, long way, and they take very little time.
It take only ten minutes to write a letter to an editor of your newspaper, but that letter can be seen by thousands of people, especially if you live in a big city. But again, the single most important thing is to talk about these things. Talking has the ability to make things real and concrete. It’s not an easy subject to talk about, believe me I know, but you’d be shocked as to how many people are already harboring the exact same feelings and doubts inside. If it becomes part of regular discourse EVERYWHERE, than the talking-heads and mass media can longer pretend like it’s some kind of a minority belief, especially when all polls show that it’s the majority opinion. It genuinely seems like things are getting urgent. If everyone puts 10 minutes a day into discussing the harsh reality of what’s going on in America, there can be a HUGE difference made – massive. What’s happening in this country simply COULDN’T happen if Americans didn’t sit idly by and let it get worse by the day.
Rome fell because its people were too soft and unmotivated to stand up for themselves and instead trusted that someone else was taking care of their problems.
And America succeeded 230 years ago because citizens took action themselves.
God Help America.

BEAT BY ME.
Lyrics:
While Im picking apart all others depart,
I havent gone hard I just fingerpaint art,
You try to graffiti me but you gotta restart,
Dont reach too far into the cookie jar,
Get out the big guns out my pocket,
I stock it, it launch it like a rocket,
Competition where I havent found any,
Boom boom pow leave you all black eyed emcees
Now I seen plex, seen him come correct,
I see he try to go hard, so I gotta respect,
But Imma do the opposite, to get it started,
Imma make complex my main target,
Okay whats this guys name I diss,
His name Comple – hold up kid!,
Imma come up in your little apartment,
Knock ya chubby big frame out the window, hard shit,
You sound like funk flex tryna battle on this,
Shit people, plex he the cattle in this,
This battle, aint there an age limit for it?
If he past 30 and he still rapping,
You a grown man, make some real cash,
Get a real job stop sitting on ya ass,
Competing with students, teens but oh yeah,
I forgot theres also mental method on that
You men shouldnt have dropped outta high school,
Now you second guessin yourself like: Im pretty sure Im cool?
Similar to future smurf, be tryna hustle,
His mixtapes for a dollar riding on the bus still
wordplays in college, smart enough to watch it,
Make sure he dont mention my name in bad context,
And why still aware and maxamilly in the contest,
Chase blaze sure but see me, Im not modest,
Im staining like varnish, Im getting real lethargic,
Of these 9 rappers they coming so harmless,
The only new fresh meat has been the tubby one,
And I chew him up and spit him out like he bubble gum,
Oh and chase blaze too but that,
Hes going away, and he aint gonna write back,
I got rap reps ruined by me in high stacks,
On the last battle day I think I just might nap,
Maximilly gon get in plenty of shit,
For talkin this spit, in his mommys crib,
dont be too loud youll get a slap on the wrist,
Spanked on the bottom okay little kid?
Lopez, check, Max, check,
Dope boy, check, chase blaze, check
Still Aware, check, yung smurf check
The other 3 are now in the progress,
Mental I have a method for you,
Go cop a kiddie book or two, read through
Learn how to spell, and pull out that tooth,
You gotta be a garbage man what else could you really do,
Wordplay I like the name but I make you scrabble,
You couldnt ride a beat if it came with a saddle,
I gave you a helmet and you gripped on the handles,
Youd still fall off, I wanna change the channel,
You was nice in the beginning now its just boring,
Find a beat, your new videos got me snoring,
run up in ya dorm room SMACK you with dvds
I eat rappers, college kids eat mac and cheese,
Plex, act ya age, change ya name,
Change from complex, to simple old lame,
I cut you up right, like Im the butcher in the game,
divide you into blocks like a housing complex man
Ay go, what, youre a jerk, I know,
But I could do this with a blindfold,
And my hands tied, I just need vocals,
I couldnt do it with out a tongue though
All of you
Can not prove
That you are better than GO,
Hit me back if you wanna get smacked,
like you already have, but much more.
