I checked out the Christian Voice web site. These people are a load of homophobic, misogynistic, hate filled wankers. If it werent for the fact that they are so laughably stupid, theyd be dangerous. Now Im going to order the book. I hope the poetry is good.

    Regards, Peter

In America “fanny” means what you call “arse.”

I like your reference to the song of Solomon. Christians like to say the bible is for families, but I can’t imagine reading that to kids, especially if it’s a translation that is less euphemistic than the KJV.

    This is great! Nick …
This is great! Nick, you should send a complimentary copy of “Blasphemy, The Musical” to Christian Voice. Maybe they’ll picket you and get your book rolling. I’d send copies to every major religious zealot group. It could be the cheapest and most effective publicity campaign possible!

    Thanks! I promise …
Thanks! I promise it will be worth it! Meanwhile I will be making you suffer – I am currently recording some of the songs for YouTube. THEN you’ll be asking the same question I am asking myself – why oh why did I set my poetry to music?!!

I have your book on order by the way!

  9. Darwinsgift Says:

I’m sure you could drum up some youtube fans for a counter protest as well! …. Best Seller! here it comes! lol!

Yep, emailed CV just now, so it will be interesting to see what they have to say, if anything!

  11. Gisburne2000 Says:

    I don’t think I …
I don’t think I will be high on their list of invited guests somehow! One of the illustrations I’ve used in the book is of two men kissing, and I am openly critical of religious attitudes to gay people and non-believers. Maybe I should email Christian Voice to get more publicity?! :o )

    I bought the book …
I bought the book simply to annoy CV. I hope it’s good too. This fuckwit obviously didn’t learn from the spanking he got in the Jerry Springer trial.

I wonder if Nick Giburne will be launching his new book “Blasphemy the Musical” at Waterstones? ….. i hope so!

    i find it …
i find it absolutely unbelievable that when considering the mindset and actions of people such as stephen ‘birdshit’ green’ and the supporters of organisations such as christian voice, it would appear that the intelligence of the human race has actually fallen dramatically during the last few decades.

whatever happened to “love thy neighbour” or “do as you would have others do unto you”?

this suggests to me that all intelligent people should noisily picket ‘birdshit’ green and christian voice

Will do Rowan. It’s still out of order for CV to muscle in on a small publisher. Watched the regional program last night, what an odious cretin Stephen Green is. Will get a copy for myself when my finances even out and a few invoices come good. Best of luck to Cinnamon Press and Patrick Jones.

    Excellent video. …
Excellent video. The publicity is great, but we’re still holding our breath to see if it turns into sales – not many BBC readers buy poetry, unfortunately. Tell all your friends to buy a copy :)
