Would you be disappointed at a book launch and signing day if the author..?

wasn’t like how you expected them to be, or had physical or mental disabilities, or was very shy or cold to fans, or didn’t turn up at all (this would have been noted earlier on advertisements), or surprisingly used a stand in (when adverts said they would be showing up)?

Are you a die hard fan or is it the book that really matters to you?

I wouldn’t even care if they where the ugliest people alive, the thing is that the inside of them is beautiful. they wrote a page turner or something beautiful so readers will enjoy to ‘read’ not to judge that he/she is ugly. i would be very surprised in a good way if some mental disabilities person would make a story. its awesome and wonderful. the more people open their ideas if they are ugly or not, it doesn’t matter :) i hope this helps ♥

    I would have to say it doesnt matter how the author looks or if they have something wrong with them. Dont judge a book by the cover. It’s the creativity and effort that they put into the book that really matters.

    Well id be pretty pissed if they just werent there, but I think it would be really neat if they werent who you expected them to be. it would be an interesting swing on the "dont judge a book by its cover" principle… I think discovering they had some disabilities would make me even more impressed with the book, and having a personality totally different than shown in the book would also impress me because they can turn themselves into some one totally different
