Solomon Islands honorary consul Doreen Kuper launches the new book Being the First celebrating the achievements of a generation of Solomon Islands women. MC is Tagaloatele Professor Peggy Fairbairn-Dunlop of AUT University’s Institute of Public Policy. The book, co-edited by Dr Alice Aruhe’eta Pollard and Professor Marilyn Waring, was launched the previous week on International Women’s Day (March in Honiara.
