is Katie battling severe virus… and her book launch is cancelled?

When Katie Price cancels her 45th (just a rough estimate) book launch of the year, you know something must be seriously wrong.

According to The Mirror, the model and, er… novelist, is battling an illness so severe she has been forced to rearrange her extremely busy signings schedule.

Pricey was due to start signing copies of her latest ghostwritten tome Santa Baby today but is currently resting under doctor’s orders.

Her spokesman confirmed the news, telling the Mirror, "A cold has developed into something slightly more and she needs to rest up.

"We anticipate Kate being back working next week."

Aww… and she was SOOOO excited about the launch too.

She recently tweeted: "My new novel, SANTA BABY, is out next week. I can’t wait for the press call. It is going to be amazing. Just wait and see!! xx"

We don’t doubt it would have been, um… eye catching. Just look at the outfit Katie turned up in last time she went on a nationwide self-promotional tour.

Seriously though, it is a shame because Santa Baby features the return of Angel Summers, the heroine of Katie’s debut novel Angel.

Ah well… all you literary fans out there will just have to wait a little longer.

I can book on but when I try to access my mail I keep getting the Lanuch FFC-1 Error. I tryed changing my password but it did not help

None of that works. Just wait for Yahoo to fix it. It’s a server issue.

Horror | The Hammer Story | Book Launch | Oct 27th 2007

Hello to everyone that attended the launch of the new edition of The Hammer Story at the Cine Lumiere in Queensberry Place, London, UK. The event included cinema screenings of Never Take Sweets From a Stranger and The Two Faces of Dr Jekyll.
Guests included actors Janina Faye, Geoffrey Bayldon, Kenneth Cope, Brian Croucher, all of who were signing copies of the new book with authors Marcus Hearn and Alan Barnes.

Those with a keen eye, spotted a chap who came in and sat down at a table. On speaking to him, he told us that he was out and about and just popped in. It was the amazing Ray Harryhausen!

We didn’t go to film anything, but managed to borrow a digital camera that records video and put this together!
