The who is who of Bollywood was present at the launch of a book on the lives of the late Nargis and Sunil Dutt. The book written by their children, Sanjay, Priya and Namrata seemed to have a lot of takers from Bollywood itself.

Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bahchcan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Khanna, Suniel Shetty, Asha Parekh, Simi Garewal, Govinda and many more stars were present at the do.

Fashion designer Ritu Beri, besides fashion, also takes interest in books. So, it didn’t come as a matter of surprise when she was recently spotted at a book launch. Ritu said, “I thought this book launch is a good idea. I normally read before going to bed. So books are very important to me. At times, I ready many books at one time.” Like other designers, Ritu too is now diversifying her creativity into other things as well. Currently she is hosting a reality show and soon she will be working with the Hollywood star, Catherine Zeta Jones.Many of our desi designers take up designing for Bollywood or hotel industry. But Ritu has gone a step higher. Well, let’s hope to see Ritu successful in her new ventures.

Most book launches aren’t exactly what we call star studded events. But this one was sparkling with the brightest of stars. Anupama Chopra launched her book, a biography on Shahrukh Khan.

Many a books have been written on King Khan as a result of which there seemed to be a need for one authoritative book and going by the response of the stars, it seemed like this was the one.
